Congrats! When are you picking up? I’m going to BMW Seattle next week and might see your car if it’s still around I’m thinking of making the switch from F80 to F90 myself, looking forward to your comparison when you get some miles on it.

I think there are a couple others here in the forums, one factory, and one with stealth film.

Looks great!

Thanks! They gave me the opportunity to pickup today, so I couldn't wait! I am keeping notes and will post something once I get past 1200 miles!

Thanks! I've never had a frozen color before and don't want to alter the finish. The dealer even recommended against doing a film, or at least their option. Do you have any recommendations?

Just get a good ceramic coating.

That's what I did on my Arctic Frozen Grey M5 and after 2 years everything is fine with the paint.

Oh good lord. The dealer is an idiot—the PPF has zero effect on the finish. These frozen colors cannot be repaired. I've tried 4 shops from WA to FL and not one of them will even take the job on. Since they cannot be repaired, protect them. Mine is now protected but it's a bit too late.

Get paint protection film immediately—it's an absolute must. I'm living the aftermath.

Did that. Wasn't enough. I guess it depends on the roads where you live but the ceramic coating won't absorb a stone impact.

Definitely PPF. You can choose xpel stealth or Suntek matte. They look identical against the frozen paint.

I would also recommend ceramic coating over it. Definitely makes cleaning a whole lot easier and still keeps the satin look intact.

Beautiful cars. Christmas came early to the Harlows

Did BMW have any end of year incentives you could leverage and did Seattle give you a decent deal? No need to reveal numbers just curious on your overall experience, if it felt like you did good vs msrp?

Hit and miss I’d say, I’ve purchased from BMW Seattle since 2000 and they’ve been decent on pricing of cars that aren’t recently released including LCIs. First allocations on brand new models as my F80 has been tough admittedly.

Hey Limey, where'd you get it wrapped? Any exposed corners? Wondering if mine is sub par. I'm in Olympia.
