Heated Steering Wheel - Not As Hot?

Has anyone experienced the heated steering wheel being "weaker" than other models? My X5's wheel become very hot but the M5 seem very mild and never reach the full heat. I just had another 5 series as a loaner and it's wheels were also heating to same intensity as my X5. Could it be my wheel heating is not working correctly?

It seems fine to me. I don't like when they get too hot.

Much warmer than F8X I can tell you that much... Not as warm as other car brands however so I'll give you that, but BMW wise, it's pretty warm, IMO...

My F80 gets HOT... way hotter than my LR4 wheel...

Sounds like it's inconsistent car to car

Actually, now that you mention it, I think you're right... Friend had a F80 and she used to complain it's not even tepid, they tweaked something at the dealership and it then got very noticeably warmer than mine as well...

I love it. My wife 2019 LX570 heated steering wheel sucks. It has wood like 60% and those parts aren't heated which they don't tell you...half is cold half is warm
