Yeah, and totally off topic. I just mentioned the ZCP because it was the number given.

I'm already quite happy with the standard 365bhp so I'm not sure if I'll actually do this. If I get a good offer from the tuner I might. Just because it's fun.

It is. To make that much power, a bigger turbo (at least a bigger compressor like a stage 1 turbo such as Dinan and Pure S1) is needed.

There's some DINAN related threads on the F80/F82 tuning site of Bimmerpost, and if I am remembering correctly, DINAN had a graph that showed the ZCP dynoed at ~507 BHP at the crank before the stage 1 Tune was applied...
Dinan did measure over 500 for the ZCP. I believe it. Your car traps 120 pretty consistently.

How do you like the F80? Is it fun to drive, or do you find it big and sterile?

It's very good - just very different than the 981.

It handles its weight better than I would have thought, and it is very very fast. On a different level from the 981 on that front. But it doesn't sound nearly as good and isn't scalpel-like, where the Cayman just went exactly where you told it to go.

I've decided I need two cars. but I don't have the space or financial wherewithal to do that just yet - but I truly hope I can have both cars at the same time someday. I love them both - the F80 is so great for DD. It would be awesome to have the 981 just for thrashing...
