I've raised my garage door to the maximum so this way for storage purposes i can back the top car in and garage door will roll up right above the hood. Car going on top is 49" tall and with wheel droop likely add another 8". Based on my calculations i'll have about 10-12" of clearance when F90 (daily) is parked below since arms holding the car are about 2-3" thick. I really wanted a two post so i can freely work on cars with all wheels off.. plus this way it serves as a 4 car garage The only downside is that one post is sitting in the other bay so aesthetically its not optimal but at least drive approach is perfect.. otherwise it would have been a pain to pull in and center the vehicle if both posts where in single bay due to drop beam interference. hello. i have a few questions.
1. what brand model 4 post are you using? 2. did you modify your garage door so it will pull all the way to the ceiling? 3. what brand model of garage door opener do you have?? tia! |
