Hey everyone. So I got a chance to dyno my BM3 stage 2 tune and then get a custom 93 tune from utkunoa

I can say that I am super happy with the car so far and will post dragy numbers soon.

Dyno graph is BM3 OTS Stage 2 vs Custom 93

Man they hit the TQ hard down low on these engines, no wonder guys bend rods. Stay out of full throttle in that 2500 range in anything over 2nd gear.

I wouldn't shift this car past ~6500rpm, no point, less average power.

Good gains. I wonder why they jump in TQ than drop down and climb back up like that. ECU pulling some timing maybe.

That is why you keep TQ under 700 to protect the rods. I am planning to do some street logs as well and send that to him to do some clean up. Dyno testing is only half of the process.

Thanks for posting this. I have an F82 M4 that I’ve ran a BM3 stage 2 on for a few years and have been more than happy with it.

Just picked up an F90 and need to decide on what tune to go with.

Love your build and please keep up the great content.

Looks really good and utkunoa has a great reputation. This is a great example of how the off the shelf tune will leave 5-10% on the table compared to a custom tune.

I did a TCU tune the same day. Stage 3 from XHP. The car is a monster now. I am working on the video now on how to do it.

Thank you. Yes once it warms up I want to take it to see what I can get in the 1/4 mile.
