CF Roof strip still a problem

I have a 2021 LCI, and the roof rail trim on the side of the carbon fiber roof are popping up near the back window. I see from other threads that this is a well-known problem, and I am surprised that it is still an issue. You would think that they would make some modifications in the production process to address long-standing known problems.

Any other LCI owners have the same issue??Mine is six months old and has 8000 miles on it.

I got my car 2 weeks ago and noticed the same issue on the driver side only.
Got a role of 3M double sided automotive tape. Removed the bottom part of the clip, removed the old tape cleaned it up and put the new tape in.
Put the clip back on then removed the tape backing and pushed it in.
It's been 2-3 days and seams to be holding so far.

It's not normal. My dealer is fixing it on Thursday. It may be common, but not normal.

Noticed this on my 2018. Hoping I can fix it myself.

Yeah I would think this should be covered under warranty at the very least.

Just got mine back from the dealer with the same issue. Under warranty, about 5k miles on it. They fixed it without issue. SA told me it takes about 6 hours to fix, as the epoxy needs time to set. I think they let mine sit overnight.

I can dig out the paperwork when I get home if anyone wants the service writeup details.
