This is interesting and thanks for letting us know about the rubbing. I’m not lowered (yet) and was going to do 15F/12R until you mentioned rubbing in the rear.
Do you think going 2-3mm thinner in rear would prevent any rubbing? |

You won't rub with a lowered 15/12 setup. I'm lowered with 17/11 Dinan spacers and no rubbing issues.

I have the exact same setup (not lowered) 15mm front / 12mm rear with 295s on the back and 285 on the front but tires stick out a tiny bit, not fully flushed with the fenders. Wonder why? |

Since he’s lowered, it is probable he had an alignment performed and tucked the wheels slightly w/ negative camber.
The owner’s a friend and he’ll more than likely respond to confirm. I’m on 21” wheels, KW V4’s and 295-285 Michelin PS4S and had an alignment performed after the coilovers settled .. I was able to tuck slightly inside the fender for a more flush look.
