Thank you BMW for bringing back the hood line right to the grills, previous gen vehicles all had the hood line cut across just above the logo and it annoyed the hell out of me. Look it up, you'll know what I mean |

idk why people are comparing the m5 to a gtr...two completely different cars built for different reasons.
anyone wanna compare the upcoming m8 to a McLaren 570S next?.. the m5 is a dual purpose sports sedan, it is excellent at both but not purpose built for either. the gtr is built for the track, uncomfortable for dailying...and the cost of (true) upkeep of it is very expensive. I didn't buy one for that reason, although I loved the car ('14 black edition). But a ring time of 7:08 (with driver mistakes) shows its capability in the track segment. that's what it was built for.

Right, that’s why it has cheap interior with terrible plastic and less interior space and less seats...
You know, This is a very dumb compare to begin with. GTR is a vehicle that will never stay in the same level with an M5. Doesn’t have the credentials. Just a hooligan at the wrong party. Never be interested in one. Case closed for me. |

Exactly my original point - from my post that seems to have started all of this lol. We live in an awesome time where 4300+ lb GT luxury sedans are in supercar territory (and beyond in some cases). Great time to be a car enthusiast!
