Right. I'm sure anyone who bought an M5 bought it for specific reasons and could have gone for the M5C if they wanted to. Same with M550i guys who didn't feel the need to have more performance (and in some cases have more luxury.)

Let's be honest, 99.9% of the time many wouldn't feel the difference between the V8 models in real world driving - aside from sound.

Either way glad the OP got the better car. BMW clearly recognized the issue and did much better with the LCI Comp suspension.

I just got out of 2018 base M5 to 2021 Comp, I feel the ride is a better ride in comfort mode compared to base

People that think like this do tend to have bigger issues around insecurities and self worth. Richest most impressive guy I ever met drives a Toyota (net personal worth $3 billion dollars).
