haha, a lot of people think just because you added an intake it must be tuned. But given he's "modded" so many of his M's in the past it is an odd statement. I will also heavily disagree about it being "perfect" from the factory of M engineers. Engineers haven't 100% built an M car in quite some time. There are bean counters and legislatures that have their heavy hand in every car design these days. Hence using the comp wheels but painting gold vice going magnesium etc, the intake being the same, it doesn't come with the MP exhaust, and it still stands way too high for a true performance car. Do love the M5CS under the hood touch.

With that said, i also do find it odd buying a $$$ cs and then adding wheels without knowing how much they weigh. sorta defeats the point of the CS if they weigh more?

The main reason I got the CS is the interior, the seats give me the feel of a race car and I don't mind dailying it. I didn't mind changing the wheels if they weigh a couple more pounds than the OEM ones considering I daily the car I didn't get it for track specifically. If I decide to track the car I can always swap out the wheels, that's the best part!

Thanks for acknowledging what's under the hood

I don't know why the cs doesnt have the side skirts/rocker panels as standard but it just completes the look to match the front and rear carbon

Thanks for posting! Car looks amazing!

I'm gonna have to call my dealer and add the Z3R rocker panels

Cost is about $1800 but totally worth it IMO

Anyone else with an order still in transit can add it to the build as it is a port installed option

Looks gorgeous. Similar to my taste and plans for my CS, but with a different take on the wheels.

What are the wheel specs?

How much does it lower the car's clearance by? Could be an issue for me with raised driveways.

I saw your car on Instagram and it looks like you coded daytime driving lights so they are yellow all the time and I would like to do that too Is it just coding or did you do something else?

In the US, the DRLs come programmed to be yellow from the factory.

Been saying this. I'm going for the 10lb lighter BBS RI-D's. Direct swap being factory sized. I think stock CS wheels (someone here weighed the front at 28 lbs) are great but still heavy.

Another 40 lbs off the unsprung weight combined with the ceramics will make the car even better to drive!
