CCB noise while driving and braking
Hi community,
i have annoying noises from my brake (just front left). I inspected it myself yesterday and found such a spot. When i took the car to the dealership, they chamged the pad but the noise stayed. It is when i drive without braking and when braking gently. do you think i should change the rotors/discs? |

The black areas in the cracks are abnormal.
The last picture has a wear indicator in the brake rotor. Our CCB's have either three or four of these spread about the rotor at the outer edge. Somebody mentioned how to "read" them but I don't remember. The braking performance will be maintained for a while. But you will start to lose performance if more rotor material beings to "flake away". Shawn |

You'll need that changed. Fingers crossed dealer sees it as product failure and not normal damage.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I see your location is Poland. Huge respect from Canada (and probably the rest of the world) on Poland's generosity to Ukraine. I can't imagine what it is like there.
Thank you from a Canadian-Ukrainian. |
