Haven't noticed a huge difference in feel or sound yet but I haven't pushed the car either. I have DPs so the turbo whistle was already prominent even with the stock intake system.
The aftermarket are a lot bigger. I am surprised it is a direct fit.

Inlets back ordered

Can you move my order to the head of the line. The inlets are back ordered until the end of the year.

What sort of delivery time/lead time would I be looking at to get shipped to the UK?

As of right now we are on backorder for the inlets and are awaiting another batch of carbon. Tentative delivery of that next shipment is around christmas so if that holds true chances are they would not ship until the last week of 2021 or the first week of 2022.

Intake is still in stock (albeit probably not for much longer) and would ship immediately. Depending on who you ordered through would determine how soon it would get there. Ordered through the Dinan UK importer you would be reliant on when they order (typically do a monthly pallet or container order). If done through an e-tailer with direct shipping it really just matters what shipment method you select with them. Same goes if you order direct via phone.

Will these work in combination with project gamma front mount intakes. Any added benefit other than sound for a stage 2 vehicle ?

Only stock air box it Dinan intake will work with inlets. PG are silicon and round vs inlets are way larger and more oval shaped so no way to clamp them together unless a custom dented pipe is made which is round and one side and oval on the other.

If Dinan would hold back some inlets for those who buy the whole intake, I would buy the whole intake, if not, I would just buy the inlets.

Hi. I ordered turbo inlets over a week ago and on the website, it said that it was expected to ship by 12/23/2021. Now it looks like the website has updated, saying it will ship 1/31/2022. Is my order getting delayed by over a month or is it just taking a few extra days to ship because of the holidays? I want to be sure because if my order isn’t even going to ship until February, I’d need to change my shipping address or maybe cancel my order and go for a different system instead.

I was going to buy the dinan intake that says it will be in stock tomorrow as well but now I’m having second thoughts because I can’t be sure that it will ship by the 30th, which is when you guys state it is estimated to ship on the website.

Got a partial shipment in last week of the missing carbon (week and a half late) that will satisfy about a third of the backorders. Production this last week was essentially a maintenance shift so they have not been started and a build order for those has not been put into the system yet. I would assume that will happen in the next few days so that first batch of the oldest backorders will probably be shipped mid January is my guess. The balance of that batch of carbon is scheduled to arrive the end of the month now so for the balance of the backorders you are probbaly looking at early February on the inlets. Of course, take all of this with a grain of salt since everything seemingly continues to be fluid.

See above but you will want to change the shipping address as you would be looking at end of the month at earliest given the order date but more likely early February. The intake itself is waiting on the next batch of carbon. Unfortunately I do not have a solid ETA on when that may arrive at present.

Hi - any updates on the timing? I have my order in, but heard that inlets are due in march and intakes in july (?!)?

Thanks!

Current rough ETA's are early March for the next round of inlet carbon (will NOT clear current backorder) and July for the intake (severely backed up carbon supply chain). Originally intakes were backed all the way up to October/November but we were able to reslot it /rearrange priorities a bit with the carbon vendor. Not ideal, but at least "better."

Thanks! Hoping my backorder will be in the cleared part - need those inlets

Anyone have a sound clip of a car running these or can someone take a video?

Does it improve the audible experience?

I have both the air intake and turbo inlets on '19 Comp
To be honest its subtle. Under heavy acceleration, you'll hear the induction and turbo spool, but its not loud enough to be heard without the windows down and stereo turned down.
The responsiveness is more noticeable... actually very noticeable.
Another potential difference is the exhaust seems to pop and overrun more than before... at least it sounds that way

In summary if you want more responsive acceleration, this is it. If you want improved sound that's noticeable inside and outside the car, all the time, I can't say this does it beyond being subtle (unless the overruns and pops are truly more prominent as I'm thinking)

Thanks for the response
I just got the intake installed, does your hood close the same or is it a lot tighter than before. It almost feels like it's hitting something but pushing hard it just closes. The release is super tight too.

No hood clearance seems to be fine for both opening and closing.
If you want I can take a pic of what the layout looks like if you want to compare and see what may be out of place?
Did you screw the front panel portion of the intake down? It should look factory flush

Have a look at these to see if they help, the overall clearance and side profile seems to look about the same.
One thing to check and have a look at is the hood release cable... maybe your sitting to tight or hard on it, making it stiffer and having full movement?
Let me know if you need a better picture of how its laid out on mine (I can't see it clear and free on yours)

Off topic, but how is that dinan piggyback working out for you ?
I am really considering getting it.
Any pro's/con's would be appreciated, thanks.!
