Charcoal Filter Delete
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Unfortunately, there's a Rollbar(?) or something in place on top of the air filter that doesn't allow me to remove it. Will I have to take this out to get that off? Don't want to take it off if it needs specific torqueing to be put back on or what not. Last edited by DonTheDon; 01-05-2022 at 09:19 PM.. |

It's fine, just remove it and hand tight torque when putting it back. Has to be moved to remove the airbox

Attached for reference Hope this helps and good luck. I definitely think there is a slight difference to sound and performance after removal. |

Did not make a difference in terms of smell in my experience. It does increase the woosh woosh sounds slightly though. Or maybe I wanted it to so to me it’s louder 😂
