Just curious - how many have installed one?

I have. I didn't choose the iND guard because I felt it was too expensive, required some minor mod, and left some rather large areas uncovered.

So I went this route with Zunsport.

https://www.zunsport.com/us/bmw-gril...lle?filter=409

Very easy bolt on install (no mods), very light, covered more area, and relatively inexpensive. Granted the wiring mesh is not as stout as iND. Very happy with it so far.

Great Find! Love the forums.....

I ordered one. I was not keen on the 'other one' as it left huge holes. This solution is much more elegant.

Do you have pictures of the guards? The original has a wide openings, large leaves get in. A lot of leaves were trapped on the radiators when I got the car. I even fished out a small rock, seen here on the right.

My car was the development car for Zunsport so the pics on their website is my car!

I was going to work with Radiator Grill Store people to create template for grill covers for F90 (front grills) but been too busy.

This thread is about the UNDER THE CAR guard as the oil cooler is exposed to road debris. One strike and oil is out and engine is dead. Bad design.
