I like the design OP, I've had similar wheels on my E60/F10. Maybe not polished aluminum, but definitely not dark wheels - you lose all the details on the wheel when it's a dark color.

It's kind of hard to find a matching color for a blue car. I'm working with a company on designing me a custom set of wheels with a custom paint finish. I'm also going for a 10 spoke wheel, similar to your design, but will probably go with hidden hardware.

Here's a few photos of gunmetal with similar design, I think it'll look good on a blue car. Personally I'll probably go with a dark copper finish for my wheels:

Question

OP, I think the rims are beautiful and they look great on the car. However, I personally wouldn’t install and for only one reason, they look like a real bitch to clean (and stay clean).

Its really hard to, as you say find a decent looking 21inch wheel for the F90. AC Schnitzer have this wheel and also a darker option with again options on the centre cap colurs. Hopefully this link works and or a picture it attached:
