I have a meisterchaft GTC on my 12 e63 bi turbo and the sound is amazing. Only issue with the systems is the valves are electronic unlike every other manufacture out there using pneumatic valves and also those that are controllable by RPM.

My valve module actually stopped working after only a couple of months of use. Still under warranty but what a hassle to have to deal with going to the exhaust shop, removing box and then going back to reinstall the new module. Warranty is not complete as I just started the claim. Let's see how the service is

From what I was told from GT Haus the GTC and GTS have the same exact internals minus the valves. What I don't understand is why they are being advertised as completely different systems with different tones. If you look at the GTS the inner exhaust pipe leading to the tip has flanges exactly where the GTC valve sits. I believe they are the same system


In the end I would actually buy another system from them. Fit, sound and quality of welds is top notched. I would just wait until they can incorporate the BMW vavle system or move to pneumatic

I have the valve controlled meistershaft exhaust on my stage 4 550i and it's been 3 years. I honestly believe it was the best 5k I ever spent on a car. The sound is amazing.

The only downside is that now that I'm thinking about getting an x5m, I'm gonna have to buy one for that.

It's funny how they stop responding when someone brought up the production and delivery problem. When someone paying this much for a muffler I would expect better service.

Just a muffler or an exhaust system (cat back)? $5k for just a muffler must be titanium.

It doesn't look titanium. Meisterschaft has figured out the perfect way to make money from people. If you knew how their company started, you'd be in constant shock when you see on of their high priced exhausts.

Don't get me wrong, the quality and welds look awesome. I do understand the high price is due to low potential sales volume. But if the price is less than $3k, they would sell many more units to recover their R&D investment faster.

The M tax is ridiculous especially for exhaust related parts. Megan racing had a muffler for 500 brand new for the e70 x5m. Others were hesitant but after years of my own experience most of this systems are made in Asia anyways. If Megan Racing won't develop a system for the F85 I will most likely modify the e70 to fit. System is very similar. I am just looking for a change in sound and not expecting HP increase. Spending 5k on a muffler system is just dumb. At 5k I should be getting turbo back with high flow cats and full system

Megan makes good quality products. You can find a new e70 muffler for $450 or so on ebay. It shouldn't cost too much for any modification and install.

Do you charge the customers credit card when they place the order or when the product ships? When i mean ship I mean having the full exhaust system placed in a box and dropped off at UPS/Fedex on its way to the customer...
