Pre LCI suspension advice
Currently have 2019 M5C, my second M5, previously had F10 which was also an amazing all round car.
Issue I have is that I am finding the competition suspension is a little to firm & choppy for the terrible roads here in the North of Scotland. What would be the recommendation solution to soften the ride, I am OK if it means slightly increasing the ride hight as that would be an acceptable payoff for a softer ride. Look forward to your recommendations and ideas. Thank you. |

If you have steel brakes, 19” wheels use tires with more sidewall and that improved the ride. Using comfort inflation pressure rather than stock also helps. Changing to base springs is a lot of work but wound also help.

Yes steel brakes with 20" wheels currently on the car. Not sure about going smaller on the wheels I do prefer the 20" larger wheels. Tyre pressure currently at recommend pressure, how much lower PSI should I go? I ldo like the sound of the base springs, does anyone know the part number for these and how much would this increase the ride height? |
