Great I'm coming over! Haha

Mostly I'd be interested in the size needed. Knowing my luck the press kit I get in wouldn't have the needed size.

Yes, sometimes you have to get creative with the pressing and receiving forms. To do on the car you need a receiver as well. Before buying I would measure the outside of the unshouldered part of the monoball for a pusher form that will push against the stock bushing metal sleeve and estimate how much bigger a receiver you would need if doing on the car (can’t go too big or it won’t stay in place on the arm and will cockeye. I have not studied the monoball or arm yet.

I've changed mine in my X5 many times so I'm sure they're similar. Just need to get under there and measure with some calipers

I installed my set of Dinan monoballs yesterday and can confirm that they are transformative to the car's steering response and feel. I can feel my that inputs are immediately transferred to the tire and that they only delay in lateral response is down to sidewall deflection of the tire. In addition, the car feels much more planted at the onset of heavy braking.

I was able to complete the install on both sides in around 2 hours. I completely removed the tension struts per the BMW shop instructions so that I could use my 20 ton shop press to remove the stock bushings. After a little cleanup with a scotchbrite pad and removal of one burr with a file the new bushings slid right into place. It's not an interference fit, which would require a press or heat/cooling to install, but the tolerances are very tight.

Did the ball joints in the hubs come out easily and without pulling the axles? I did not have the BMW shop instructions and had to improvise and it was not easy.

There is not enough clearance for the tension struts to come out without disconnecting the output shaft from the wheel bearing. You do not need to completely remove the shaft as there is enough play to move it aside once it is disconnected by pulling the collar bolt (see photo). I've attached the full shop instructions for those interested.

Currently my car shakes a little with the rpm fluctuations while idling, I don't know if your car does the same, will changing to stiffer mounts reduce the shake in cabin or make it even worse?

Can you repost the instruction again? I don't see it, thank you!

Would this benefit the CS? Or did they do any upgrades to the current bushings?

I think someone took pics back in the 1st or 2nd page trying to see if the CS was monoball like the rear is.
