Small sample size, just back from the dealer, but the car feels 1000 times better! It feels, well, a lot like my M3 did (but with mo power) and not like jarring hell ride it was. I can even tell the slight difference in the angle of the hood, as I kept noticing the hood shape in a way I didn't before. I am so relieved. I really was worried that I blew $120k+ on a car I hated. Can't wait to take it out on a longer drive.

I did once gave bad review to my dealer's service department because they don't want to listen to my complaint and report it to Customer Relation of BMWNA. Right away they became a good friend of mine and willing to listen. Any broken pieces of that plastic shipping block can damage your bump stop and/or putting a lot of stresses on suspensions bushing since it has to compensate the spring / shock job.

Problem is I still have vibrations after driving the car more so something must have happened with these on. Possibly the car bottoming down a few times must have stressed something. |

I remember replying to you a few weeks ago in another thread about the possibility that your shipping blocks might still be in place when you mentioned a really stiff suspension in your car. I'm glad it all worked out. I hope your dealer does give you some sort of compensation.

So things don't get any better in BMW dealerships. Have the same issue with my M5 2020 picked up a week ago. I'm super disappointed because I intentionally picked non competition version to keep as much comfort as possible. Tomorrow I will get rid of this shi*t from my suspension.
