LOL - came here to comment about Doug and Schmee, nothing more to add (though their monthly checks from the YouTube are pretty sizeable these days given their follower count).

Don't own a CS - wish I did. Been in a few hellcats. Not even in the same ball park of comparison. The hellcats are great stoplight racers and sound terrific. And that's about it. The CS is so much more.

But then again, with all the positive press that's been heaped upon the CS - this was Doug's way of attention grabbing a bunch of YouTube traffic (cause behind every one of these successful YouTubers is a good SEO who is telling them the exact combination of words and scripts to use to get max views / watch time).

Seems really late to the CS party. The car was announced over 18 months ago. What I'm really looking forward to is a SavageGeese review but it doesn't look like that's happening.

I have never seen one of Doug's reviews before this but I take it he's behind carsandbids? Interesting! With that said some of the way he talks and voice inflection seems over the top.. almost like he's partially inspired by Nardwuar. Anyway not a bad review but just basically covered what had been out there for over a year.

it has over 1000hp for the same price as a CS. Have you driven one? Im not here to get into a Tesla vs BMW spat, but owning both I can see why he'd put the Plaid up there.

i know man, its unbelievably fast. For me, I just can't get into full electric cars. I need a gearbox, i need to know what gear I am in. got to hear the engine noise; etc.. otherwise I cannot perceive the speed.

Doug doesnt really like BMW, he only does BMW reviews because of bmw's strong fan base, meaning the bmw vids get guaranteed views.
He throws shade that is subtle.
He knows everybody likes the yellows lights, then he makes fun of them.
he doesn't cross the line though because he knows there's a comment section.

But just comparing yet calling it a hellcat and then putting that in the title is a big big insult, and he knows it. to compare any car to a Dodge product is just downright insulting, and i promise you, he KNOWS that.

Dodge chrysler jeep can all take a hike off a cliff. honda too.

shmee gets hate bc of his lisp and overly jolly demeanor that catapults that lisp, and he's a pie faced ginger. lots to hate plus his riduculous cars. that demuro is too frugle to buy
