Anyone here experience with the VF Engineering tune for the M5? Any feedback that you can share? I bought a RaceChip, but I’m considering a non piggyback tune.

They are very close to me and it would be pretty convenient. I see a lot of M3's and M4's with VF stickers on their windows but when I talked to them about M5's it seemed like they had only done 1 or 2 at most. I don't think there is enough testing for my tastes. On top of that I was looking for multiple tunes to support different fuel setups with more boost and a daily driver setup. Not to say they aren't capable but I just don't want to be the guinea pig.

You also have to consider if they have done testing and tunes for not only completely stock M5's but for those with mods like you may have.

For instance, if you were going to go with a tune and had DP's, exhaust and intake then a stock tune isn't going to be as effective as one that was tuned to work with the similar mods. In that case I would look at Imran@Evolve Evolve, as he has extensive testing done on his personal car with those mods.

As an alternative there is some others with lots of cars using their tunes. HCP, DME, and Eurocharged.

I see you have one of their supercharger setups on your lambo. They do a ton of them and it seems like a good shop. I just don't think they are heavy into the M5 market

Since it's been some time, has anyone else experienced the VF Engineering tune on the F90? I had it on my F80 and it was great, as was their customer service/support.
