Yea, I got it cleared up with them yesterday.
The US side haven't fully update the German side down to the customer support level.

Saw another JB4 customer post up an impression 10.09. It's a CP using the latest CP specific map on MS109 fuel. Amazing how fast these cars can be with a little tuning!

He actually got a 10.06 but Dragy listed the downslope as fractionally over 1% so the time was marked invalid.

Note this particular car also has:
  • CC brakes (a ~75Ib unsprung weight saving)
  • Custom 21" wheels (also substantially lighter than stock but I forget how much)
  • GruppeM Intake
  • Cat'less DPs
  • Remus exhaust
  • … and a JB4 on a custom map 6 setup.

His car has 9s in it if he was prepared to go to the lengths others do to save weight... but it's an M5 and I don't see him removing the rear seats any time soon.

Regardless, WOW--what a time!!

Those mods didn't help. It's all driver! I'm better at pushing down the peddle than everyone else!

Mashing the gas takes talent. I hope one day to be able to stomp on it like you.

Why are people using Draggy as gospel?
Time slips from a drag strip.. Is it too hard to go to a track?

Yup.

PS: and that's Dra'g'y... though it's arguable who spelt it wrong first.

Dragy is always within 0.1th and 1mph of a real track, but you can game the slope a little with it. Not all areas have access to tracks and those that do often have them open in times that are not ideal for racing. Dragy is just a lot easier especially if you live next to a long stretch of private road.

Yep, Dragy is very accurate and there is no dragstrips left where I live. Well, there is 2 within a few hundred miles and they have open racing like once a year and if you're lucky you will get 2-3 runs after waiting all day. It's not worth it.... If there was a track that was open all the time then of course I would go. I think I would easily drop some time with some traction so why not!

Because the Dragy is this good...

https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=153

Most people don't want to drive 1-2 hours to a drag strip and waste 3-4 hours doing a few runs when you can find a back road and do 5 runs in 5 minutes.

You can also game the wind if you plan well enough. I haven't done this yet, but I live in an area with really strong winds. I'm sure it'd help a lot to have a 20+mph tail wind...

Congrats! That's a great time.

I don't see that time on the Dragy leaderboard, did you 'Share/Upload' it?

You can buy someone's license who is parting out their car. I saw 2 for sale on the FB F90 Group today.
