I just confirmed with them. That it is correct and confirmed.

IMHO, at least they offer something. I haven't seen other piggyback or flash tunes offering such, other than Dinan which cost 3 times than RaceChip.

Very interested in buying this for my F90. Would rather have a tuning facility do the install. Im here in South Florida do you know any places here that would do the install and i would buy through you.

Just recently bought it and installed it myself. It was pretty simple. Took 15 minutes using both my left hands (about 8 of those 15 min were spent finding a suitable mounting place).

it is quite a simple install. from the warranty side, Unless you engine goes "boom" then 7500 would cover most claims should one occur. seems like a reasonable starting point to me.

Get it from Ben, and yes there are places in South Florida that will do it.
SAT (specialty automotive treatments in Ft Lauderdale is one), Foreign affairs in Pompano is another.

$7500 covers next to nothing if you bend a rod and BMW denies coverage based on the piggy.

Howzit guys! I was wondering if any of you could give me some long term feedback on this module. Popped my F10 so I really do not want to go through that again. Was planning on keeping the tuning stock, but with this solution being warrantied and tuv certified, it has me strongly considering it now.

The most I'm currently thinking of doing power wise is intake, catless midpipes and full exhaust. Nothing major and I think this could compliment those simple bolt-ons quite nicely. Thanks in advance for any insight you can give.

Thank you.
I was hoping some of my customers to reply, since it would sound biased if I am the one who replied.

I have sold RaceChip since 2014.
I haven't seen any blown motor caused by RaceChip.
As you mentioned, it is TUV approved.
TUV is much more stricter than DOT, EPA, and CARB.
I also personally use the product.
And currently I have it on my F97 X3M Competition since late October 2019.

Here is the video on the dyno.

Yea, I have had piggy since my 2014 F15 X5.
I think it is the best for easy solution.

Crossing forums but wanted to give my feedback. I am running Race Chip on my new M8. Same engine so it’s revelant. Purchased the RC from Ben at RG. Got my other 2 RC from him. Great prices and service. Since there was no actual tune for the m8 RC flew one of their guys from FL and data logged and created a custom tune with my current mods. We made a total of 5 runs and after each run tweaks were made. Had to back off the boost as my gamma intakes we’re creating a little extra boost causing a slight knock.

The car pulls so hard and just doesn’t stop. I am sure it would start dropping off but prob never experience it at those speeds. The install took 5 mins, the Bluetooth app is pretty cool. Can switch tunes or boost levels on your phone in seconds. The previous RC had to be opened to change the settings

Overall very pleased with the RC. I have a problem of always wanting more and had moved on from RC to bm3 on my other cars. Not sure if I will go full tune on the m8. Right now it doesn’t feel I need anymore power
