Please share what they did and which dealer. My dealer at T&C just use a power washer to rinse the brake.
Deglaze the pads and the rotors, and slightly chamfer the leading edge of the pads. Then go lean on the brakes pretty hard to properly seat them into the rotors.

I used to do this quite often on the front brakes of Harley Davidsons.

I am having a huge problem with my new m5 comp. the breaks coming to a light or full stop is embarrassing and annoying. So what’s the answer ?

Replace the OEM pads ... noisy brakes are very common with these cars. Both of my F10 M5's had this issue and I resolved by going with aftermarket pads.

I would not waste your time taking to dealer .. they'll state it's normal or provide a temporary solution; this has been my experience.

As mentioned above, it's the only fix. It is total bs that we have to deal w/ this....

My question is why do we only have one supplier? The car has been out a while. Why haven't the other usual brands started producing pads?

so my car is at the dealer picking it up saturday morning. well see if there is an improvement i bet not. i guess changing the pads is my next step . 120K car and we M drivers have to deal with this bullshit. i dealt with it very bad on my 2012 GT-R it was so annoying .
