Rear Differential Warning

Translates into drive carefully because rear slip differential has limited performance abilities. This occurs the moment i start up the car, anyone had seen this before ?

I had this one day error one day after start up, ended up being low battery voltage. They replaced the battery and its never come back.

Hi, I have put 7,500 miles on mine, for the first 7,000 I had no issue at all. I unfortunately scraped the side skirt and had to get that fixed. After I got the car back (took 6 weeks) it started to behave badly ...

Goes into park after start/stop at light. Getting warnings about all assist systems, screens black out, rear diff locks up wheels under downshift (happen twice now), and I can reliably reproduce the problem now.

I do think it's linked to heat (been cold here lately ... 15-20C), all other times I have been driving in warm weather (25-45C).

It kind of alternate giving me rear diff warning, driver aid systems (8 different warnings, always comes at the same time), loss of maps/navigation (apple car play still work though), and engine shutting down 'randomly' going up hill.

Every time a 'reset' (turn off the car, lock it, and start it again) reset and problem is gone (for a bit).

BMW reprogrammed the car, but problem did not go away, next I will take it in and have them replace the battery (based on the other suggestion here).

I do not think there is any 'real' issue, and given 7,000 problem free miles I do not think there is any 'bad' HW/SW ... They did see a low voltage warning as well.

Let me also know if you get the problem fixed ... losing power / engine / gear in a curve going uphill is ... problematic ... and locking up me rear wheels in a steep curve (on-ramp) was also brown-trouser-time.
