I must be the anomaly as the Frozen Grey isn't that appealing to me. I am leaning towards White as it makes the carbon accents really stand out.

+1.The Frozen gray that I looked at looked like shit.It reminded me of the flat primered cars that people drove in High school when they had no money 40+ years ago.Even the colour of the carbon fiber hood was off to the rest of the car!I ordered the White for much the same reasons that you did.

The white looks like a cross between a Creamsicle and vomit, so the "shity" frozen gray doesn't look so bad after all. Just kidding, the frozen gray actually looks fantastic!

I have no problem with the white, it's the orange and the white together.
To be totally honest, its not a big deal either way. I just do not think it is right to piss off more than half of the people on this site who opted for frozen gray by telling them it looks like shit.
I believe that if you don't have something nice to day, leave it alone. I do not care how much money you have, dropping 135k on something and then have people tell you it looks like shit is not a something anyone wants to hear. You want white, great. Leave it at that since many people already picked their color and do not want to second guess something they cannot change.

Maybe my feelings are strong because I am from a different older generation but I tried to have an open mind about the FG but when I actually saw it on the GTS I became very opinionated very quickly.My intention was not to offend people but only to express my personal opinion which interestingly was shared by the people that I know that saw the car.I really wished BMW had offered a wider choice of colours on the GTS.Way back I had a E30 M3 in Henna Red and it sure did polarize people and you would certainly hear about it but I was personally not bothered or cared about the comments As it was my choice to own that car and I loved that car.

Each to their own, but I dont care at all what other peopel think of my chosen car or coulor. If I did I would not have bought a GTS, as I seems most on here and all over are not liking it.

Still I kind of like it and thats all that matters to me really. I dont buy cars for others, or even for the next potential owner who buy It after me. Thats Why I also spec a car for me in regards of options etc.

Ordered MG with AW as a backup. I just like grey/orange. I also really like white but I have had two white cars I track and it is a pain getting the rubber marks off. At least with MG they will not show as much.

My current track car is white and you make a valid point. Mineral Grey is growing on me.

I must be of the same generation and/or on forums too long because frankly I don't care what other people say about my choice in cars or their colors. Then again I've always been against the grain and the GTS will certainly be following suit with that thinking given how vocal people have been on its looks. What they haven't been able to argue with however is its performance.

I saw FG at the New York Auto Show and personally think it looked beautiful but also noticed some inconsistency in how the paint appeared (some darker spots) across the front hood. It was likely due to how the car was detailed/prepped, but the matte finish looked great.
