Hello my M5 big brothers -

Does anyone know of someone that does custom transmission tunes?

I have a modified 2021 550i and Xhp hasn't made a tune for my car unfortunately. They made one for every 5 series and all M cars, except the 550 and 850. Honestly not sure if they are going to make one for my car.

My transmission is really holding me back and I could really use a trans tune. So I thought I'd reach out to my f90 guys and see if you guys might have some insight?

The cars full potential unfortunately. No matter what I do in regards to shifting, it always in one gear or another, leaves the power band, which is worth a half a second..... Very frustrating.

Some of the F90 M5 tuners also do transmission tunes, but I don’t know specifically about the G30 550xi. HCP and Utkunoa are 2 names that come to mind.

Yeah I was thinking Utku or Halim too, but thought they only messed with M5's. I guess it wont hurt to reach out to them. Thank you.

I was talking with the owner of West Tuned here in MA and he said they do them. He might be able to help. He has a solid rating on Google/Yelp/IG but I have no dealings with him directly just yet. I hope to have a custom dyno tune this spring. Best of luck

xhp is working on a lci file should be released in the next few months according to their instagram

No not for the 2020+ M550/M850. Every other 5 series, yes. They first said they were working on it and should be right after the first of the year. Now they say they're working on a lot of other cars and maybe in the future.
