Eisenmann or m performance exhaust ?

I currently have the eisenmann race exhaust and truly enjoy it, but I was just offered the Mpe exhaust for free. Deciding to take the new route and get the MPE exhaust. Has anybody heard these two exhaust in person? What's the difference between them in sound. I've looked at videos but videos just don't do exhaust sounds justice though

I've not heard in person but the Eisenmann Race is more aggressive IMO than the MPE. Had the Eisenmann race on an F10 M5 and loved it.

F90 MPE does not have valve-control so something to consider and I suspect to be more subdued based on what I've heard and historically what MPE has been.

Eisenmann Race doesn't have valve control either

Miko,

What's up brother! Miss you around here.

I was not aware about the no valve control on the Eisenmann ... had it on 13' F10 M5.

Memory starting to go LOL

Best way I could put it, eisenmann to me is more like a rock band and Mpe is more a symphony. I've heard both in person eisenmann is just loud mean and noisy, a bat out of hell album. Mpe you can hear every note of the exhaust because it's so clean and well tuned instrument and still loud . That's what I noticed

So at this point, I'd have to recommend the MPE... I'm sure most of you know by now but the newest update from BMW (has to be flashed not available OTA) changes many components of the car... Audible wise, most noticeably it's the exhaust... It is MUCH louder than pre-update... Especially the overrun, burbles and pops... I'm actually curious as to what's going to happen when people with eise/akra etc, wind up having to get this software update...

In case anyone is wondering, it's - 006.074.002 the most recent software...

Well with Mpe and down pipes I might be screwed lol

Can you give me more details on the next exhaust update. Compare and contrast from pre-update sound? What's the difference?

You have mail... It's louder and in sport+ the car is much more "twitchy"... It reminds me of my friends performante - you try and drive it gingerly and it starts to buck a little bit lol... I thought I had found the sweet spot pre-software update but not anymore...

Steering is much more stiff - I made same maneuvers I've been making since day one with this car and it's much heavier without a doubt... Sport now feels like pre-software update sport+...

Let's say you were in one of your M settings was S3 tranny before, in the past, I could alternate between manual shifting and auto shifting and it would leave it in whatever transmission setting - now when you swap back and forth, the car puts it into D1 tranny automatically... That I don't like too much...

Fan doesn't seem to stay on that long anymore - which is great because it used to stay on for 7 minutes before...

That's all I have discovered thus far, but yeah, it's noticeable and I mean very... Just listen to the video clips and as we all know by now, video doesn't really give a good understanding as to how loud these exhausts really are...

Would like this new update.
Need to ask the update from dealer, or I could download it somewhere else?
