Update regarding my PPF decision - I went with AMP-Motorsports in Concord Ontario just north of the 407. Had to drive up there from Windsor (almost 400km) and I didn’t want to sustain any rock damage prior to the PPF being installed so I came up with a way to protect the front in transit. I had the dealer leave the hood shipping wrap on the hood and then I wrapped the whole front fascia and fenders / mirrors / A pillars and lead edge of carbon roof with yellow painters tape ( gentle adhesive type). Worked like a charm - no chips or marks and tape removed without residue. Will post pics when ppf complete and let you all know how happy I am with the workmanship. Impressed with the shop so far. Thanks to Euro* for the recommendation of AMP-Motorsports and for everyone else who is making my first full PPF experience a bit easier.

How did it turn out?? Looking at ordering my M5 soon. Haven't decided on paint yet. Love the frozen look but not fun to maintain. Can I inquire as to how much the tint and PPF cost ya?

It turned out amazing. Added even more depth and gloss to the donington. Look on the “what did you to ditch for the ////M F90” thread - I posted on there for pics. PM for a general cost of what I had done if your interested.

If you like the frozen look - check out using the XPEL Stealth ppf ontop of normal paint. A few have done that and it gives a great matte frozen look without the upkeep issues and you get the bonus of the ppf protection. The cost of the frozen paint option would be negated then instead the savings rolled into the cost of the ppf - not that these cars make sense from an economic perspective lol.
