2020 BMW M5 Ordering Guide

Sadly no laser lights in the US. But Executive Package is cheaper.

Place my order today and it's now in status 112. I'm told production will start shortly.

I Just thinking about ordering a 2020. Did you pay MSRP, or did you get some deal? If you don't want to post your deal, can you PM me?

It went so fast from getting the pricing guide to status 112, I haven't talked price yet...

Not sure who has the bargaining position. I haven't made a deposit either.

Have your CA check again for 5AZ - Laser Light. Shows valid 6.21 for the US but might be restricted to 35 Jahre until after the summer break.

Where are you at Lemetier? I don't think laser light is available in the US for 2020. Also, do you have more info on the gear selector?

As far as the Laser Light, it didn't appear for US Production prior to June 21 but at the same time, isn't released for production as the July production block (5AZ SOP 7/19) doesn't begin until Monday. Attached are the US spec Laser Light part numbers. I've seen the initial release (5/19) order guide and it's not correct in areas other than lighting.

With the gear selector, it's listed as SOP 7/19, is a completely new revision, but is not shared with any other vehicle as far as I can tell (doesn't cross reference to another model). When I know more, I'll happily pass the info along.

I hope I like the new gear selector. So if my car has gone to 112 production is it too late to order laser lights. It wasn't an option when i spec'd the car.

Any new colors pop up?

I don't like any of the colors available and I'm just consider doing an individual paint.

Interesting BMW in Mountain View CA, is asking me $5K deposit for a 2020 M5 Competition.

He double checked and even tried to enter a new build, but no luck.

The car has entered status 150, so now it's a moot point. I'd rather have the car in August without laser lights than to have to wait longer.

I’m willing to skip laser lights until the US approves the selective high-beam shaping technology readily available and operational in Europe.
