Unfortunately, I had to give up two fantastic cars to make room in my tiny garage for the M5. A 2016 Porsche 981 Spyder and a 2017 Golf R. If life changes and space needs had not changed requiring a sedan, I never would have made the swap, but I'm loving the M5 so far.

I will try and spark this thread with

Audi S8 APR Stage II APR and RS7 Wheels, was a very fast and nice car but handling and steering were a big let down!

Zero regrets after the move! Never looked back

I ditched my '18 X5M for a '19 M5C just this past weekend. I liked the X5M, but did not love it. After only 100 miles in the M5C, I can tell I'm really going to love it. I just need to get past the break in period.

Just be **patient** to get past the break-in period - I’m just shy of 1K and have had my F90 since 7/11. Once a highly tuned, complex piece of machinery (like the S63B44T4) gets accustomed to higher stresses (somewhat gradually) it will tend to last longer with less significant maintenance issues, in the long-run. I have experience with this, as I was an flying crew chief (in small tactical aircraft)/aviation mechanic with the USAF back in the early 80’s.

I had the same problem with my 2014 RS5. Driver ergos were just not good and I could never get comfortable in it. Seat would not go low enough for me and the steering angle was just wrong for a sporty car. I was hoping they had fixed that in the current model, but they haven't. I don't know how anyone over 6'1" can be comfortable driving that car unless they like to lay the seat back and drive it like a low rider.

I’m 6’3” and I fit so much better, without having to significantly lower the seat like I do in my 550i, because there seems to be a bit more headroom and I’m very comfortable in the F90 vs the 550i. Plus, being I just had full left replacement knee surgery a month ago, I find getting in and out of the F90 far easier (and much less painful!) than the other. I’m very happy!

Ha...I have the exact opposite issue... 5'6" and for the life of me I could not get the seat right....the BMW seems to be a much better fit....

Wow. I got mine at 1:00 pm on Sunday July 7th. Made the call for break in service on Monday July 8th around 4:30 pm. Took a break from 10pm to 6am.

Ditched a 2018 M550. Great car. M5 a tad better, tho.

2015 X5 will be traded in. Ordered a few weeks ago and have a VIN number. It makes no sense, the X5 has been perfect, no problems, I have snow tires for it, great every day/winter driver. I should sell the 2009 M3, but I did a bunch of stuff to it, got it just how I wanted and it still looks great. I just couldn't part with it. So the M5 is going to be my daily driver / winter beater.

TY.

Wheels were Velos 21" 2 piece forged;if you do a search in the F10 M5 forum you can find more information.

I believe they were 21x9.5 / 21x11 on Vredesteins 305/265

I got rid of my C6 Z06 & Infiniti FX35 for a F80 M3 and this is my second ///M. I had a Imola Red E46 M3 in my early 20's

My brother has had quite a few BMW's but this is his first M.
My brother decided to do the same. He got rid of his F10 528xi (Carbon Black) Fully Optioned Out and 2012 C6 ZR1 Rare Color 1 of 12 for 2012 (Super Sonic Blue)/Low Miles (Tastefully Modified) for a 2019 M5 Comp and picked up the M Performance Carbon Parts soon as purchasing the car and he doesnt regret his decision one bit.

Daily Drives the M5 Comp | Weekend Warrior is his 1000hp+ 2010 Camaro SS Built By CBI Street Cars (The Camaro has sentimental value to him as my dad recently passed away and lots of memories were had with that car. He probably wont ever sell the Camaro)
