Best wheel color for Donnington CP

Going to get some HRE’s. Can’t decide what color to go with. My last 4 sets have been black - not doing that again. I also am not doing a crazy color.

What do you think of brushed dark clear with donnington?

Any other suggestions?

Brushed dark clear would look amazing! What style are you looking at? I especially like the P101

I've done the P101's on 2 cars before so doing something different.

Either P104SC or the 300M. I really like the look of the 300M.

I like the 104 and 103...can't go wrong with either. I think the 300 with the offset spoke design is a bit odd (IMO).

My only caution would be brake dust... if you get your wheels ceramic coated and are diligent with cleaning, you'll be fine.

My biggest pet peeve is seeing caked on brake dust where the front wheels are significantly darker in color than the rears. Just my 2 cents.

I think bronze would look good and is popular (for the time being).

I don't think bronze pairs well with DG.

thanks. I think I am leaning 300M as it reminds me of the ZCP wheels on my first M - 2006 E46 M3.

I saw the 300's on a MBB F90 M5 in person and they looked really nice! Given the design of these wheels, I think suspension is a must.

they are 21's. The roads absolutely suck where I live. I had 21's on my last M5 and then my M6GC. Not worth the hassle of constantly sweating hitting a bump or a pot hole.

I am going 20" and keeping the stock rubber.

Just got my HRE's. Went with brushed dark clear.... I'm on the fence. Going to have them mounted next week and will post pics. May be too close in color to Donnington.... oh well. Can always have them redone in another color.

If you end up not liking them, mine are for sale, they might look killer on Donnington:

P107 or P207 in brushed dark clear gets my vote.

Would have bought your's but I didnt want to go 21. I did, however, take your lead and stuck with the 300M!
