Thanks to everyone who took the time to post DIY's, troubleshooting, general help data, tool selections, code reader options, coding, etc. Although this forum got me in trouble with the wife, it will prove to be a huge benefit in the short and long run of owning our 328i.

I laughed yesterday when I hit a bump in a curve and my malfunctioning angel eye came back on. Yep, I read that thread a while back and have now lived it.

You are all going to cost me a ton of money and I cannot decide if it is going to be mods and coding or buying another one to tinker with.
