Back to back COTY wins. Really shows that BMW can still make great driving cars if they wanted. Just too bad most of the good is found in CS and Competition trim instead of base models.

Am I the only one who watched this and now look at my non CS car ehh. The one guy, that's who these people selling their CS On this forum need to show potential buyers. "It doesn't do it a little better then the M5 competition, it doesn't do it better then the m5 competition, it does it massively better"

I own a 2022 M5 Comp and my thoughts are to give a big congratulations to the BMW M engineers who built a great car. As I stated on another thread, whether you own an M5 Base, Competition or CS you should feel very grateful that you are driving one of the best cars to come from BMW ever!

I do not know if you are the only one, but I still think my M5C is a great machine. I am sure the M5CS is a great car, but my M5 drives and looks the same as it did before the reviews of the M5CS so nothing has changed. I went out to the mall today and look back at my M5 and laughed at how great it looks. Returning to the car is just amazing to me. My drives are around the Dallas, Texas metroplex including highways and suburban areas. I really do not know if I could tell the difference in performance, steering, etc. between the other cars in this segment such as M5CS, E63S, RS6, CT6 and all the others. They are all extremely fast and the performance differences are measured in tenths of seconds. The difference I do notice is the look and feel. People have different criteria by which they evaluate, measure and select cars. That does not mean one is better than the other, it is just preference.

I am glad the M5CS won the award. It is a plus for all BMW and M series cars.

Top 3 are all cars that would be a great addition to any garage. There's something about that STO, screaming V10, crazy aero, uncompromisingly focused.. if only given the keys to one it would be very hard not to take it.
