To be honest; I thought BMW would destroy all the cars in sportiest mode, especially after it did in comfort mode. It was a bit disappointing.

Had a E63s mess with me yesterday driving on the highway.

I thought I would get destroyed, but he nailed and I was in Sport + / Manual and was able to keep up with him. Started pulling on me just a little at 90mph. I backed out at 110. Slowed down, gave me

All the reading I did showed they were comparable. I was thinking about buying one. The M5 looked from the magazine road tests to be very slightly quicker and faster as well as a tiny bit lighter.

I was in my 2020 M550. Stayed with him from 70-90, then he crept away. My car has 523hp/553tq. I was surprised to hang with a 600+ hp car for a little bit.

Not really a surprise. The performance difference are probably near the limits which few people experience especially on city streets. I think the M550 is a great car.
