Gave her her first bath today. The hood vents collect water and dump them on the engine/intakes when you open up the hood. Anyone else notice? She looks good after a bath…..

Wow, do you wash all your cars yourself? I tried to do that, but my detailer does so much better of a job than I could ever do.

Sounds like we need someone to make some hood "plugs" so the water does not creep in.

Sometimes when they need it and definitely the first one. Have to "get to know" all her curves.

Just the hassle factor of having to open the hood and dry the engine bay if you want it clean with the outside …..I've never had a ventilated hood before so I suppose par for the course but not what I'm used to or thought about ….

It's just like you have to open your trunk to dry around, we now have to open the hood and do stuff on the inside not just the edges.

I've got the exact same config on order, was supposed to be built in late August, then last week of October, now it is delayed indefinitely…the more I see the green and gold the more I like it. it's going to be a fun spring!!

Duh, you're right. Haven't washed her in a while and the vent is more central and in front of most of the engine components….
