Finally took the time to put water spigots in garage!

Now I have hot and cold SOFTENED water spigots in the garage. I would have not believed the difference using softened water to wash the car without seeing it for myself. So much better. Drying spots not there LOL. Had been too lazy for too long. Now if only I had a floor drain dam it.

Water softener? Now that is a top tier good idea!
I made sure to put hot / cold water in my shop-garage when it was built but didn’t do floor drains either. Big regret not having drains. My builder talked me out of planned drains at the time (building code permit red tape) - now I kick myself for not putting them in every time I squeegee water out through the open doors, especially in winter with snow melt.

In our house in Malone (custom built) the garage was 3 car, extra wide, extra deep, extra height ceiling, with 6 floor drains (hidden from inspector), 9 inch thick slab in center bay, two forced hot water feed heaters, hot and cold water, vinyl wall coverings lower 4 feet of the walls, 220 outlet for arc welder or other, many outlets, and extra lights. That was a nice garage. I was planning on a lift in the center bay. Oh well......current house, meh' Just happy to have three bays and now heat and water in it.
