Miko
I love how your car sounded last week.
You replaced the upper down pipes do you think it's to loud now?

It is very loud on cold start but, you can remove/ reduce cold start.
I decided to keep it, it's only for like 10sec.
Driving it is louder and you can hear more turbos spinning

It sounds great Miko. How did you eliminate the CEL? I would assume a tune is the only way.

Here are some decibel numbers for people that are questioning if the exhaust is to loud

Set up:
Eisenmann Race exhaust
Eisenmann none resonated mid pipes
Eisenmann upper and lower down pipes

Inside the cabin while driving In efficient mode with low RPM ( 1.2 K ) 58db
In sport plus with low RPM 70db

Outside, Cold start 124.3db
Idle after cold start 91db

Since there is no valve option on the Race version, when used with non-res pipes, is it loud enough to override the fake pumped in engine note? i am guessing the insulation in the M5 is still too good to not hear the fake note over the actual exhaust? I know you can still defeat the fake exhaust note...just wondering how loud it is inside the cabin with windows up.
The race version is loud enough to hear with the windows up. And for your friend who are deaf. You can literally feel the vibration from the muffler.

However loud you think the race version is.. times it by 2 and that's your answer lol

Idle is 91??? Lol. In California idle is 4 dB less than the legal limit.

The second you put ANY throttle I'm sure it jumps to 100+dB

Hi Miko, I have the same axle back system but not mid pipe and downpipe. I feel the drone gets kinda annoying between 1.5-2k rpm while cruising on highway. Do you have same issue or maybe the straight pipe set up will change the frequency and cancel out the drone?

It will make it worse
Specially under light load like driving up hill

Change from efficient mode to sport or even sport + and it will go away.
RPM needs to be little higher
I sometimes just from the gear down, I always drove in manual mode

Good to see you too.
Spring biz is crazy busy, and we have hard time getting wire.

I got couple Tesla as daily driver and to be hones I really like it.

I do like to get something that will be dedicated for track only, not road legal.
I have 1-2 year time to decide what car yo choose.
For now GT3 is on top of mine list.

How is your Turbo S treating you?

Very glad the biz is busy. Getting base metal was/is a problem for us. Now it’s more of a &$$ problem.

Turbo S has been very interesting. I generally change out every 2 years for a different experience. That was up in March and it’s still here. Like therapy in every drive. It’s fun to bring your own ride to the carnival.

Cool, the turbo S is just so solid and hard to give up.
Maybe new turbo S? Lol
So hard to get anything better.
GT3 RS is something I like to snatch

Is it possible to revert back to a resonated midpipe if the non resonated version was ordered when my race was installed?

Also running Keller primaries and secondaries so hoping the resonated mid would quiet it down just a tad bit until I’m able to tune out cold start
