BMW typically does not increase tq in the comp package. Did not for the M4. Look at the dyno sheets in the other thread. More HP. Same TQ.

The focus is on handling, but for the F90 there appears to have more cosmetic changes. |

The new comp wheel looks better, but I'd probably go aftermarket anyways. |

BMW needs to do a bit more like Porsche where you can fully customize the car from the build (color of your trim pieces, blackout your decals/logos, do you actually want the word "competition" under your M5 logo if you get that option, what color to paint your wheels, etc.). |

But the part about being a CXX, having 3 kids, only making it to C&C once a year... yeah, life gets really busy. The M5 checks off a lot of categories all at once. This, coming from a guy who use to have stacks of race tires in my garage for 10-12 track weekends a year in my E46 M3, back before I was married. lol My commute in my F10 M5 was the most relaxing time of the day for me. Looking forward to getting back in to an M5 when this X5 lease is up.

If there is only a 25hp increase (on a 600hp car), this really sucks the life out of the CP for me. Need the 37trq increase as well; it helped close the trq. gap with the E63s (and yes, I know the M5 weighs less, etc.) It will be interesting to see what dinan does, and there are always aftermarket exhaust choices. +1 on the Cheesy black stick on "Competition" badge and also feel the wheels are OK at best. All of the OEM wheels so far are hard to look at except the '19s and I want 20s'. Maybe the actual US Spec. pkg will be better.

I'm 30, I buy and swap out every few years; currently being two F15 X5 for my wife and I, have the weekend fun 911....yet I still wanted a family cruiser that was quick, hence the M5. But the thing is as crazy as life gets and how busy the day is, I can come up with 5 min to post on the forum lol |

I still wanna know when we’ll get all of the Aussie-standard specs... seat belts, ceramic buttons, etc. hoping this pack along with it being a 2019 model will address this.

Dang, US has no seatbelts? Lol, jk. Yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to those things too. If MY2019 doesn’t offer them I’m ordering separately and having them installed.

this whole segment needs a serious weight reduction. Here's hoping to get the car under 4000 lbs!
CCBs and titanium exhaust can only shave less than 100 lbs off. Personally, I would be ok if ZCP forces you to remove: B&W some electric features of seats (fore/aft, heating/cooling) less padding in the rear seats less padding/features on the doors (soft close) rear zone climate controls I'm sure those items are at least 400 lbs of weight, basically the heaviest "luxury" features. When I got my M6 GC, I was shocked how much effort I had to put in to open/close my doors and fold down the rear seats.

Only negative I see is those wheels, they are probably lighter than others but the black look so much better.
Also need some better color options. Glad ceramic brakes are not included as more people will get this package on their daily driver. Needs more aggressive styling though |
