Looks great but I’m not sold on the long term durability, required care and repair of matte paints. Risky IMHO.
Also - those glued on carbon fiber air dam pieces look ridiculous. Too boy racer. |

As far a durability I’ve heard mixed things.. those who own them say they are easy to maintain, I normally hear negative things from the rumor mill of those who don’t own frozen colors. I’ll do more research in this area and see what I can find. |

I would not however, only wrap part of the car as I do believe the color will look different. |

I was thinking of wrapping the lower 1/3 of the front fender behind the wheel well and the rocker panel, both just back to the front door. To protect from road rash off the front tires.
What do you think of that? |

Love it, its what i ordered, color looks darker outside! As for the Xpel Stealth, I have that now on a metallic panther black RS5 and it does look great, but you really need to have someone good put it on which means the car is stripped down and rebuilt over a few days. However without too close an inspection it look V.Nice!
I just checked, ignore that, mine is frozen Arctic Grey, not Dark Silver!! Cant find anything online to suggest paint protect (Even the Xpel stealth) on top of a frozen finish. Last edited by dnippard; 03-25-2018 at 10:03 PM.. Reason: update |

Meh, looks like almost every other silver 5er on the road, not worth the $10k premium imo

Surprised an individual car would have p zeros rather than MPSS. Are these run flats? I would spec it with the space saver spare option, relatively low cost.

It just looks like primer, as if someone forgot to paint it... As with all Frozen gray-scale shades.

IMO Looks much better in this frozen color than that frozen red launch car.
