That front shot render is uncalled for! That thing looks f$&@?%g sick!!!!! I'm loyal to the 3 series but this looks great. I also think it resembles the 2er but the 5er makes it look great. The 2 series isn't wide enough to not come off like a short dude with lifts in his shoes.

Again..how many M5 owners do you see that clean and detail their own cars lol. Most of them can afford to pay someone else to do it.

One issue, the rear calipers are going to be quite ugly looking just like the F10 due to the push button handbrake, rather than the good looking F8x calipers.

I wonder if the wheel arches/fenders will be wider than this impression

From the back the m3 looks like a gorilla walking on its knuckles compared to a standard 3er

Great render! The closest one yet! This is the only full car render that didn't forget about the lower front bumper vent detail seen in the CAD file.

I dont believe so, it would be the same as the normal 5er

This is particulatly what I dont like about the upcoming M5, there is no investment in the Silhouette

I recall seeing the camo M3 in Munich before launch and its rear fenders were screaming out "look at me, Im here " which I totally loved.

I love it!

For the posters above, the front fenders will be wider than the normal 5er but the rears, I read, won't be as it was not worth the extra investment in tooling.

It's never going to be the most attractive EMPB caliper, but...

- It's proven and available

- Accepts a very generous size pad for swept friction area

- Reduces the total weight by several kilos

You can't please everyone and it's easier/more common to make a car more aggressive than less aggressive

I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't look like the F8x 4 piston caliper for cars with carbon ceramic brakes.

I think it is important to render this properly now so that people don't get upset seeing renders with 4 piston calipers then the final car lets them down!
