Tire shine

What's you guys' favorite tire shine product and is it in a spray form or gel form? I'm about to shine mine up for the first time but I don't want to use junk especially the kind that just flings right off onto your fenders. I've been eying the Griott's Garage blue gel product since most of their other products are pretty good.

Adam's Polishes has a wide range of great products / applications. I've used and has minimal flaking off and retains the color / cleanliness. I like their matte finish color option so it doesn't look too "wet".

Currently using Gyeon Q2M Tire Coating. Product is a thick liquid and leaves a finish that is slightly glossy but definitely not the greasy wet look shine that a lot of products produce. Q2M is a SiO2 coating that prevents browning of tires and causes water to bead up and thankfully no sling of the product onto the fenders.

Very happy with Q2M so far and I think I've tried almost every product out there.

Zaino Z16 or Duragloss 253, which I find is basically the same product, is great stuff. It’s a liquid that goes a very long way and is easy to apply. It gives the tire a nice clean semi gloss look and dries without being greasy. I get virtually no sling off and it lasts a long time. I have Adams VRT which is a gel and that works well too. I find the Z16 and 253 easier to work with.

Carpro Perl. Leaves a nice clean natural look. Not too glossy

Like others said, Gyeon Tire and CarPro Perl are my favorite.

CarPro Perl is more versatile as it's water-based an can be used on exterior plastic if diluted 1:3 and exterior rubber if diluted 1:1

Gyeon Tire should only be used on tires, but since it's polymer-based it will stay on the tires longer

Thanks for all the responses. I may have to order some Gyeon, or maybe the Z16 product since I'm already a big fan of Zaino. I thought about using this Chemical Guys VRP stuff since I already had it and I read that some people use it on tires but I tested it on my truck tires and man... it's just way too thick. I had to make several passes over the tire and even resorted to using a brush to slop it on, lol... no way. I think I'll pass!

I use Zaino Tire Gloss because, well, it isn't super glossy. LOL. More of a matte finish that just makes the tire look nice without being super wet looking and/or splashing all of the place.
