New Forgelines From Turnermotorsport

Got my car back from TMS on Wednesday, after a Bilstein PSS-10, H&R rearbar installation, and my new Forgelines with white rims as pictured on their 128 on there website. All I can say is wow. The car is AW and the wheels on that car along with the lowering transform the car into a sight to behold. Look at there sight and you will see what I mean, the CF rear spoiler and diffuser along with the shadowline have made the car a rolling work of art. CF mirror cover and tii side skirts on the way.

how about some pictures, man? I'm considering those wheels with polished lips and silver centers. Any rubbing? Did the fenders have to be rolled?

Well since I don't have any pics as of the moment, I refer you to www.turnermotorsport.com, look at their 128 project car, squint you eyes a little and pretend it's a 135i, and voila.

There is no rubbing, and the fenders do not need to be rolled. FWIW TMS is not a new kid on the block, they have been around for quite a few years and compete on a national level, they know of what they speak, and what they say I take as gospel, Amen.

I will get some pics up within the next few days, for all ye of little faith.

Haven't played with it much, left the shop on the softest setting which is 1, even on 1, the ride was slightly firmer then stock, but not bone jarring. One of my main objections with the stock set up is the way the cars front end rises an dives under acceleration and shifting. The PSS-10 really does away with this. Look at some of the YOUTUBE clips with guys running through the gears and it looks like a scene from the "Deadliest Catch", the way the nose rises and falls.
Previous experience with a PSS-9 set up on another car is that you can real dial in either comfort or firm for auotcross if needed.

Thats it for now.

I would love to know what the weights are, too. As for where I found it. There is a picture of the M3 and 128i project car in the middle of the main paige. I clicked the picture and I was there.

I've been shamed into it, here are some pics. As far was weight I don't know But the guys at Turner claim about half the weight of the stock tire/wheel set up, may be optomistic.

It could be real close. Forgeline wheels are very light. Run flat tires are also quite heavy. We actually had that same exact set seen in the picture at Bimmerfest on our car (we were in the Turner Motorsports booth) so I know first hand they're light. We were so impressed with them, we ended up getting our own set.

We have the Forgeline ZX3R Competition Wheels with titanium fasteners. They're super light (18x10 is about 19 lbs) and very durable.

After looking at those pictures I can say that there is no shame needed Fran. I absolutely love the contrasting colors. Really works with the curves the 1er has. Now all you need is a bit of tint and you are pretty much set. Good call on avoiding the CF mirrors...I think the color contrast looks better with the white in this instance.

No problem!! For the OP, I know this might sound like a strange request, but could you post us some pics in a few weeks. I am really concerned about the back rim half being white. I am afraid that I would go nuts looking at loads of brake dust behind the wheel centers. I'd love to see if it is visually an issue or not because part of what makes your wheels look so good is the rear section being white, too.
