The JB4 is fantastic. I'll explain why I think that: I've owned 3 of them over the past 7 years or so on 3 x F10 M5s, 2 x F06 M6 GCs, 1 X5M, 2 x F90 M5s and my latest M8 Comp GC. My average 0-60mph in my last F90 was mid 2.6s; best = 2.57s. Similar numbers for the M8 but a little slower at best at 2.59s.

... now your turn.

Nice!

Do you have a time slip or Dragy reference for that run? I'd love to see the details: 60 ft, DA, etc.

// EDIT

Disregard. I found you on the Dragy leaderboard.

That's a good time no doubt.

That said, though, it has to be pointed out that even with your DA and temp disadvantage, you've got DPs (pri/sec), a DME tune, intake and meth injection and yet you're still slower (granted, only just and that could be attributable to a burger one of us ate beforehand ). Nonetheless, I had a $900 JB4 and a farm road.

Yup. No doubt my DA is favorable to say the least. However, the JB4 cut my stock time from 11s and 10.9s to a consistent high
10.3s or 10.4s hence my point of contention with your original post. My best is 10.33s.

Can U guys explain this correction after I input my draggy times? Does this mean if DA was optimal those would be the numbers at the bottom plus minus few milliseconds?

Also is there any benefit of running jb4 on top of stage one tune as I wouldn't do primary cats and can't go stage 2?

I just checked the app and noticed there is now a stable V9 where maps 1 & 2 seem to be the same as they were on V5, i'm going to upload V9 and run map 1, see how that goes and then move up to map 2 on some E85

I fear for guys playing with JB4. I wish it had a warning when you select maps and said "requires xx amount of octane" JB4 is powerful and a good tool but you really have to use it with caution and reading and comparing logs with the guys at BMS.

I attached an old v3 guide but we are on v5. It says 93 is okay for map2 but I wouldn't do it as you can see how much it boosts at times.

This is very confusing. I specifically asked Terry about safety and Map 2 with 93 octane pump gas and he specifically told me 93 octane was fine for Map 2. Is he wrong? Very curious. I have run it for a year without problems and I mean run it.

Map 2 with V9 is very different to V6 and earlier. The latter isn't suitable for 93 octane.

Read the blog post—post #1—that covers both versions.
