This is the rim after the repair...the polished part along the spokes are lighter than the other three but the shop swears that it will darken over time.

It's lighter than the first day I picked the car up from the dealership. I'm hoping the polish darkens soon as I have OCD about these things.

I would bet what you see is as good as it gets... which is pretty good IMO.

ED insurance specifically states that rim damage not covered. Loginout will identify any such damage. But... such peccadillos are often repaired at the VPC. Not sure if Canada different.

That's just a scuff. Sand it with a fine grit paper and then paint some touch up paint that matches the color.

Oh no!!! Welcome me to the club!
The scratch is very hard to notice but it bugs me... Not sure if I should fix it or not, you can barely see it if you don't get really close. The pictures with flash show excessive damage, they don't look like that under natural light... Would you fix it? |
