BMW cap fit on Rial P10?

Hello everyone,

I am not sure who I need to listen anymore since I receive different info...
I got a call from my wheel&tire mechanic about the fit of BMW caps on Rial P10.
According to him the Rial P10 18'' does not fit the BMW center caps.
He is buying from TireRacks and he is saying '' It is not 'just math' it is the precise machining of the opening to accept the cap. The bore of the wheel has to match the diameter of the cap but there is a ledge behind that that fits the retaining tabs. If that is not correct then the cap will fall off. ''
However, I saw pictures and asked if they fit before and I got positive answer... Any idea for sure if they fit or not?

ah! so you have been successful in fitting the BMW cap on the rial P10?!!! Some ppl tell me it is impossible...
