Side mirrors while reversing

So…I coded my car the other day, and now I notice only my passenger side mirror rotates down towards the ground when reversing. Is this normal? If not, how on Earth do I fix the driver side one? I have no idea what setting I changed but definitely don’t remember changing any mirror settings…

From factory, only the passenger side mirror rotates, this is normal.

This is normal. When the toggle to adjust the side mirror position (on the driver side door arm) is pushed to the right, it will do this. Just move it back to the left, and this won't happen. Unless they changed that…

Normal operation with side mirror switch pushed towards drivers side I believe? You can through coding increase the amount that the mirror rotates down at least on the G07 chassis

You can’t have the driver’s side mirror to tilt when reversing. No amount of coding is available for that. Passenger side does it without any coding, so whatever you did, it didn’t affect that one way or another.

So you're right...I checked the manual, even. Not sure how I never noticed this!

Other manufacturers give you the option to tilt passenger side, but BMWs traditionally only parallels park on the right.

guys out here coding bimmers and cant even figure out how the side mirror works ! lmfao

Hey guy ! if you flip the switch to control the mirrors over to control the passenger side , the mirror won't rotate down!
