705m Winter Wheel and Tire Package

Hello everyone, I’m awaiting delivery of my first M5 Competition and was interested in the winter wheel and tire set sold by BMW. On the BMW website they were selling the 705m orbit grey set for $2232. I ordered this through the dealer and they said only the rears shipped, and they said that price is only for the rears. Is this accurate?

Thanks!

I would have guessed a new winter tire and wheel set for these cars from a dealer would be over $3k so $2232 would have raised a flag for me.

Yes, tires alone will run you $1500. I think they use Michelin pilot alpines on the winter sets. I can't find them listed on the BMW site anymore but $4-5k was the going price if I recall correctly.

Looks like any of the snow tire options aren't on the site right now; must have sold out. I just had mine installed today during my 1200 mile service. I went with the square setup, part number 36110003049. Out the door and mounted was $924 apiece.

You went for a staggered setup and you got the rears. When I spoke with my parts department a few weeks ago, they said they weren't so sure the fronts would be coming back in stock any time soon.
