F22 dual zone A/C control panel "retrofit"

Hello everybody, my name is Matteo and i'm from Italy.
I've followed you since i decided to buy my F22, but now i decided to actively partecipate at the forum, hoping to kindly recieve the support I need.
My F22 is well equipped, but I've always missed the dual zone A/C control, instead of my single zone automatic control panel. The last week i purchased a dual zone A/C control panel for a few bucks , in order to try to fit and code it in my car (doesn't matter if at the end I will just obtain a single zone A/C with a dual zone control panel, I just like the control interface, in my opinion a lot better than analogic).

So, I proceded in this way:

- installed the new dual zone control panel
- Using E-sys I made this steps: read FA -> activate FA -> read SVT -> find IHKA ECU -> right click and 'code'

Unfortunately this didn't result in a success, indeed the panel switched on but was out of control.

So I would ask some questions to more skilled users:

- did i proceeded in the 'proper' way?
- should I do in another way?
- Have I to disable some checks or to delete errors after the installation?

This evening, exploring the CAFD file inside IHKA ECU i found some interesting options:

3000->Luftverteilung [you can choose between Manual, 1Zonig (default) and 2Zonig]
3000->klimageraet [air distribution]
3000->solarsensorkennlinie [characteristics of the irradiation sensor]
3000->blower_type
3001->besclagsvermeidung [fogging prevention]
3001->solarsensor -> default not active
3001->MSA_schubansteurung (fan speed control) -> default not active
3001->KMV_aktiv_beschlag [fogging prevention] -> default not active
Not shure if these codes means something for dual zone ac function

a big thank you to everyone who will try to answer me

Drives the OCD crazy. Only upside is in the rare occasion GF and I take my car instead if hers it minimizes bitching. She's "that age" so temp sensitive. Truth be told I turn her seat on when she's not paying attention to mess w her.

If you originally had the single zone control unit with rotary switches then the transition to an auto A/C system requires much much more than just replacing the control panel. It's a dashboard-off job. Surprisingly, a fellow forum member did this retrofit on his F30 and you can see his post here http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...45&postcount=5

Thank you very much!
What exactly was I was looking for but unfortunately I was not able to find.

Ultimately I do not care to have a real dual-zone climate control (the cabin is one and fluidoynamics excludes the possibilty that there are two different temperatures), but I would try to operate my air settings through the dual zone panel. According to a local professional retrofitter this should be possible ..
The second week of February I will be to him and try, then I will update you with the results.

Here I am guys. I went to the installer and the answer is: not possible to retrofit the only panel
Maybe i should try a panel with a code compatible to the period of production of my car , but for the moment i have other projects in my mind (10.25" screen)
