Winter tires

Looking for recommendations for 20 inch winter tires. Surprisingly TireRack doesn't have anything showing for F90.

The Sottozeros are there but you need to talk to someone on chat or phone. The web search is missing the rear sizes.

I decided to go with square setup 285/35R-20 PIRELLI WINTER SOTTOZERO 3 XL
Tires coming tomorrow, and will install on EOM Reams.
I will drive very little in winter.

Will order new rims and tires for spring

Where did you order from? I placed an order a month ago and apparently BMW does not have the tires yet from Michelin. The fronts are supposed to be available in the next week or two and the rears in early December.

On this note - does anyone know if my 19" package of winter tires from my M550ix fit the M5 CP?

Thanks in advance.

I also ordered the Pirelli sottozero 3s from tire rack. Great price, couldn't pass on them.

I basically said fuck it and bought sottozero 3s in 285's for the rear and sottozero 2s in 275 for the front, all in 20's. I know you aren't supposed to mix and match, but I have a hard time believing I'm going to crash because of mismatched tires. The 3's are discounted on tire rack for super cheap right now. I'm putting them on my stock comp wheels and will get new summer wheels/tires in the spring.

Does this mean you'd dump the stock summer tires? Curious - why not keep them and put them on in spring? Would they fit?

Haven't decided if I am going to get 21's or not. If I stick with 20's, I'll keep them. I lost the tire lottery and got the pirelli's, so I'm not the biggest fan of them in the first place.
